Dante (1265-1321)
Dante Alighieri widely known mononymously as Dante, was an Italian poet, writer, and philosopher. His Divine Comedy, originally called Comedìa (modern Italian: Commedia) and later christened Divina by Giovanni Boccaccio, is widely considered one of the most important poems of the Middle Ages and the greatest literary work in the Italian language
- Father of the Italian নামে পরিচিত।
- বিখ্যাত Epic: "The Divine Comedy" (1320) রচয়িতা এর প্রথম অংশের একটি বিখ্যাত কবিতা "Inferno"(Hell).
- Dante (দান্তে), Petrarch (পেত্রার্ক), Boccaccio (বোক্কাচিও) এই তিন জন বিখ্যাত ইতালীয় কবিকে একত্রে The Three Crowns/ The Three Fountains (ফোয়ারার) বলা হয়।
