Duties of a Student
Introduction
Student life is the most important stage of a person's life. It is the time when a person prepares for the future. Just as a seed needs proper care to grow into a healthy tree, a student must follow discipline and perform their duties sincerely to become a responsible citizen. A student’s success in life largely depends on how well they use this valuable period.
Duties Towards Study
The first and foremost duty of a student is to study attentively. A student must attend school regularly, listen to the teachers carefully, and complete all classwork and homework properly. Education is the key to success, and without it, no one can achieve anything great in life. Students should also read extra books to gain more knowledge.
Duties Towards Parents and Teachers
Students must respect their parents and teachers. Parents make many sacrifices for their children, and teachers show them the right path in life. Obeying them, listening to their advice, and being polite are important responsibilities of every student.
Duties Towards Society and Nation
A student should not only think about personal success but also the welfare of others. Students can take part in social work, help the poor, and raise awareness about health and cleanliness. By being honest, responsible, and active, students can contribute to building a better society and a strong nation.
Moral Duties
Apart from studying, a student should build good character. Honesty, kindness, truthfulness, discipline, and respect for others are moral values that every student must practice. A student with good moral character is loved by all and becomes successful in life.

To sum up, a student must be sincere, hardworking, and responsible. The future of a person, as well as of a nation, depends on the students of today. If students fulfill their duties properly, they will become capable and worthy citizens. So, every student should make the best use of student life and prepare themselves for a bright future.
