ধরি, পৃথিবী থেকে x দূরত্বে উভয়ের টান সমান হবে।

$∴ F_{e} = \frac{GMm}{x^{2}} and F_{m} = \frac{G \frac{M}{81} m}{{(38.6 \times 10^{7} - x)}^{2}} ∴ F_{e} = F_{m}$

$∴ \frac{GMm}{x^{2}} = \frac{GMm}{81 {(38.6 \times 10^{7} - x)}^{2}} \Rightarrow x^{2} = 81 {(38.6 \times 10^{7} - x)}^{2}$

$\Rightarrow 1 = 81 {(\frac{38.6 \times 10^{7}}{x} - 1)}^{2} \Rightarrow \frac{38.6 \times 10^{7}}{x} - 1 = \frac{1}{9}$

$∴ x = 3.474 \times 10^{8} m Ans .$
