let the three consecutive integers are x, (x + 1), (x + 2)
ATQ,
x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 120
or,3x + 3 = 120
or, x = 117/3
∴ x = 39
1st integers is = 39
2nd integers = 39 + 1 = 40
sum of the two smaller integers = 39 + 40 = 79 (ans)
