A sum of money at simple interest amounts to Tk. 2800 in 2 years and to Tk. 3250 in 5 years at a rate of :
আসল + ৫ বছরের মুনাফা = ৩২৫০
আসল + ২ বছরের মুনাফা = ২৮০০

৩ বছরের মুনাফা = ৪৫০
২ বছরের মুনাফা = ( ৪৫০ × ২) /৩ = ৩০০
আসল = ২৮০০ - ৩০০ = ২৫০০ টাকা
মুনাফার হার = ( ৩০০ × ১০০) /(২৫০০ × ২)% = ৬%
Principle + 2 years interest = 2800 …..(1)
Principle + 5 years interest = 3250 …..(2)
(2) - (1) =>
3250 - 2800 = Principle + 5 years interest - Principle - 2 years interest
=> 450 = 3 years interest
=> 1 years interest = 450/3 = 150 [This is the amount of interest, but in our question ask rate. So we need to compare this value with Principle (below)]
Now, 2 years interest = 150 * 2 = 300
(1) =>
Principle + 300 = 2800
=> Principle = 2500
Rate of interest of taka 2500 is: (1 years interest amount / Principle) *100 %
= (150/2500)*100 % = 6 %
