$= \frac{2 (1 + c o s θ - i s i n θ)}{1 + 2 c o s θ + c o s^{2} θ + s i n^{2} θ} = \frac{2 (1 + c o s θ - i s i n θ)}{1 + 1 + 2 c o s θ}$

$= \frac{2 (1 + c o s θ - i s i n θ)}{2 + 2 c o s θ} = \frac{1 + c o s θ - i s i n θ}{1 + c o s θ}$

$= 1 - i \frac{\sin θ}{1 + c o s θ} = 1 - i \frac{2 s i n \frac{θ}{2} \cos \frac{θ}{2}}{2 c o s^{2} \frac{θ}{2}}$
